Diana Carmona, ARNP, is an experienced primary care provider with more than 15 years in the medical field. Board-certified, as an adult-gerontology nurse practitioner, she has the expertise patients need to improve their health. At Hallandale Medical Center, in Hallandale Beach, Florida, she enjoys working with patients of all ages.
Diana graduated from medical school from Universidad del Valle in Cali, Colombia. She practiced medicine in Colombia for 15 years before moving to the United States. Later, Diana earned her master’s degree in nursing at Florida International University in University Park, Florida. She has been practicing as a nurse practitioner ever since.
At Hallandale Medical Center, Diana emphasizes preventive care and early interventions. She enjoys providing personalized attention, and she builds deep, compassionate relationships with each patient. Diana is a member of the American Nurse Association and the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her children, being outdoors, and hosting her family from Colombia and Guatemala.
