Elena Sucre, APRN, AGNP-C, is an autonomous, board-certified Adult and Gerontology Nurse Practitioner who has been practicing as a Primary Care Provider since 2017. Elena is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
Before becoming a provider, Elena gained extensive experience as an RN working for four years in the Cardiovascular ICU at Cleveland Clinic Florida. There, she provided critical care for post-op cardiac patients and served as a Nurse Educator for younger nurses. This hands-on experience profoundly shaped her clinical skills and approach to patient care. She earned her Bachelor’s degree from Barry University in Miami Shores in 2005 and later pursued a Master’s degree at South University in Savannah, Georgia. Since completing her education, Elena has been dedicated to delivering compassionate Primary Care to patients aged 18 and older.
Elena brings her passion to Hallandale Medical Center every day. She is a strong advocate for equality, believing that everyone, regardless of age, gender, or race, deserves the same level of care. Elena approaches each patient with a commitment to providing personalized, individualized care that is not only clinically effective but also compassionate and respectful, reflecting her belief that everyone deserves to be treated with dignity and understanding.
Born and raised in Caracas, Venezuela, Elena has lived in the United States for over 20 years. In her free time, she enjoys exercising, spending time with her three children and family, and exploring new languages and cultures. Elena is fluent in English, Spanish and French.
