Luis Alberto Moya, MD

Luis Alberto Moya, MD, serves as the medical director of HG Doctors and practices in the Hallandale Medical Center office. He is board certified in family medicine and focuses on comprehensive patient care.

Dr. Moya completed his residency at the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center campus in El Paso, Texas before moving to Florida to intern at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami.

While in Miami, he focused on clinical immunology and HIV. Upon completion of his internship, Dr. Moya joined the Baptist Health System at Homestead Hospital, where he received the James Jett Award in 2012 for outstanding graduating family medicine resident. Additionally, Dr. Moya received the Golden Skates Award, which recognized his commitment to seeing the highest number of patients in a family center over a three-year period.

He is currently active in the American Academy of Family Physicians and the American Medical Association. A native of Colombia, Dr. Moya offers exceptional patient care and is fluent in Spanish and English.

The Medical facility is State of the Art! It is immaculate. You are greeted so warmly! Justin is so on point and caring. Dr. Armondo listens, and is such an attentive and caring doctor. There is a lab on the premises, this is such a plus as a one stop not having to go to another place or lab .

Very good experience! Everyone was very nice and the NP listened to my concerns and the staff was very efficient and courteous.

The employees at the front desk are super nice. My appointment was right on time and Doctor Moya is the best he takes his time and explains everything to you. You can really feel his passion for what he does.

I had my first vaccine shot today and Justin was wonderful! It was painless and l feel fine. Everyone is marvelous here. I see Dr. Armando Curra — 5 stars.
