Dr. Kitaigorodsky is a bilingual (English/Spanish) licensed Clinical Psychologist and Neuropsychologist who has broad experience diagnosing and treating a wide variety of mental health and neurological disorders. Dr. Kitaigorodsky specializes in the diagnosis, and treatment of neurological / psychiatric conditions, and dementias (Alzheimer’s Disease). She also provides long-term and short-term psychotherapy services and rehabilitation services to adults who are experiencing either common mental health issues (e.g., depression, anxiety, life transition, dealing with medical condition, adjustment issues) or who are rehabilitating from a neurological insult (e.g., stroke, acquired traumatic brain injury, etc.). She is a native Spanish speaker and provides services in English and Spanish. She is also available for telehealth sessions.
Dr. kitaigorodsky graduated summa cum laude from her doctorate program with a specialization in Neuropsychology. She completed her APA accredited internship at the Adult Rehabilitation Department, Jackson Memorial Hospital and her two-year formal fellowship at the Prestigious Neuropsychology Department & Trauma center level 1, Jackson Memorial Hospital, University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. Dr. Kitaigorodsky then joined the faculty at the University of Miami as an Assistant Professor and attending Neuropsychologist. She has co-authored several research manuscripts, book chapters and has conducted a broad range of community presentations and educational webinars. She has served as a co-investigator in several research studies related to improving the early detection of Alzheimer’s Disease and related disorders.
