Victoria Samuelson - CEO
Vicky took over the reigns as CEO of Hallandale Medical Center in 2009. Prior to her role as CEO, Vicky was acting COO and responsible for all operations of the medical center. She has since opened two additional facilities, Coral Springs Medical and Dental and Delray Medical and Dental.
After graduating from North Miami Beach High School, Vicky decided to attend college abroad. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Communications from Pontifical Xavierian University in Bogota, Colombia, which was the same college her father, Dr. Hernando Giraldo, attended and earned his Doctor of Medicine degree.
Vicky is knowledgeable in all areas of the patient experience, strategic planning, operational analysis, patient safety, revenue and profit growth, problem resolution, physician recruitment, and capital construction.
While under Vicky’s leadership, Hallandale Medical Center received recognition from the Hallandale Beach Police Department for service to the community as well as the Hepburn Senior Center for community service.
Vicky offers a wealth of knowledge and experience to HMC. She is a member of the Hallandale Beach Chamber of Commerce, Delray Beach Chamber of Commerce and Coral Springs Chamber of Commerce. She was awarded Best Small Business Person in 2012 from the Hallandale Beach Chamber of Commerce.
She truly believes that every patient and employee is family and operates HG Doctors as such. She has two children in high school and in her free time enjoys spending time with family and traveling.
