Dr. Yasmin Arias, PsyD, specializes in clinical neuropsychology. She evaluates, diagnoses, and treats conditions that affect cognitive and emotional functioning, utilizing neuropsychological tests to assess cognitive functions such as memory, attention, problem-solving, and language. This helps diagnose conditions like traumatic brain injuries, strokes, dementia, and neurodevelopmental disorders.
Dr. Arias attended Carlos Albizu University in Miami to complete her clinical psychology doctoral training, earning her Master’s and Doctoral Degrees. Dr. Arias completed her predoctoral internship at the Priority Behavioral Health Clinic at Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester, NY. She’s completing her fellowship in neuropsychology with the team at HG Doctors in Hallandale Medical Center.
Dr. Arias is a clinical neuropsychologist and American Psychological Association (APA) member. To ensure effective communication with all patients, Dr. Arias is bilingual and offers treatment in both Spanish and English.
